Elena Favilli – writer

Elena Favilli is an Italian writer. She grew up in Tuscany amongst olive trees and ribollita. She played soccer with a very defensive cow and she soon learnt the highly refined art of billiards and roasting. She studied Semiotics in Bologna and New Media at U.C. Berkeley. She worked a while for McSweeney’s in San Francisco and then for Rai in New York City. In Italy she worked for la Repubblica, Sergio Cofferati, Annamaria Testa, Fabrica and Topipittori. She adores logic, lapsus and paradoxes.

Elena had a blog but she wanted to make some changes and specially to add a portfolio with the publications and websites that she wrote for. We designed and developed a website that integrated the blog and the online portfolio. For the home page we proposed her to have a single sentence (as she is a writer). Every time the visitor is welcome with a different sentence with a different colour combination to keep the site alive. Thanks to the Content Management System, Elena can update her blog, her portfolio and her welcome sentences.
